The Homo Sapiens collection is crafted from hardened basaltic lava sourced from the Mount Etna volcano in Italy. The lava is virtually indestructible and soft to the touch, making this fountain pen an ease to write with. It is also slightly hygroscopic, absorbing moisture from your hand as you write.  The glossy metal red trim gives a fiery contrast against the matte black lava of the pen's body. Available in Black with red aluminum trim.
