Visconti presents the Homo Sapiens Carbon Rose, the third chapter in a collection born of technical experimentation and aesthetic exploration. Following the golden reflections of Carbon Moiré and the sportier character of Carbon Abyssus, this new edition expresses an elegance defined by subtle hues, contrasts and exquisite details.
The exploration of materials has been part of the Homo Sapiens story since the introduction of volcanic lava. With the Carbon collection, this journey drew inspiration from the craftsmanship behind Italy’s most prestigious supercars, bringing forged carbon to the world of writing: a composite material in which fragments of carbon fiber and resin come together to form a lightweight structure with a distinctive, organic and irregular pattern.
Its new personality is defined by pink-anodized aluminum alloy leaf, incorporated into the composite. Rosy veins emerge among the dark carbon fibers, following their irregular contours and creating a delicate play of luminous reflections. The depth of the dark background accentuates the warmth of the pink, while the light reveals different nuances as the viewing angle changes.
The metal fittings are crafted from Ergal, an aluminum alloy also used in aerospace applications, preserving the lightness and mechanical strength that distinguish the collection. Their anodized finish complements the pen’s color palette, creating visual continuity between the metal elements and the veins running through the body.
The fountain pen version features the Double Reservoir Power Filler system. A transparent central window allows the ink to be viewed even when the pen is capped, seamlessly integrating function into the design. A magnetic closure and a Visconti 18kt gold nib complete the pen.
With Homo Sapiens Carbon Rose, experimentation takes on a new allure. The strength of the materials meets the delicacy of color in a creation that celebrates writing as an expression of character and personal elegance.
