Use these Metallic Markers on bright, dark and colorful papers, cardstock, wood and leather as well smooth non-porous surfaces such as plastic, transparencies, porcelain, glass and metal. Water-based and odor-free ink does not bleed through paper. No pumping or shaking is required; the ink flows evenly through the fiber tip, allowing you to start drawing immediately. After drying, Metallics are resistant to both smudging and water splashes. They can even be made waterproof (not dishwasher safe) by 'fixing' them in an oven at 160 degrees C / 320 degrees F for 30 minutes. Place your art pieces in an unheated oven before turning it on. This will allow breakable material such as glass to adjust gradually to the temperature.
