CJ Hurley (American, b. 1967) The Quietude of Winter

CJ Hurley believes that art is one of the central joys of life. His paintings evoke the spirit of the international Arts and Crafts movement (c. 1880–1920), which sought to bring beauty into people’s homes. In these holiday cards, snowdrifts cradle a peaceful home nestled between a waning moon and delicate winter foliage.
