The Kaweco SPECIAL fountain pen’s most important characteristic is its plain and simple octagonal design. It is long and thin and, initially, the SPECIAL was made out of ebonite, then turned celluloid. In its modern incarnation, the SPECIAL is made from polished brass or black anodized aluminum.
 
The Kaweco SPECIAL series has proven to be a long-lasting working tool at a reasonable price.
 
Comes standard with a polished stainless-steel nib, manufactured by Bock of Heidelberg. Available in extra fine, fine, medium, broad, and extra-broad widths. 
 
Uses short or long international cartridges. Optional converters available below.
