Hotaru-bi is one of three new Iroshizuku fountain pen ink colors Pilot is launching in 2022. These gorgeous inks have been inspired by beautiful Japanese environments. Each Iroshizuku ink comes in an elegant, handblown glass bottle containing 50mL of this lovely ink.
Hotaru-bi (蛍火), Light of Fireflies: inspired by the soft, light of delicate fireflies. This color is a bright chartreuse green with warm yellow hues.
The name Iroshizuku is a combination of the Japanese words Iro; 色彩 (Coloring), expressing high standard and variation of colors, and Shizuku; 雫 (Droplet), that embodies the very image of dripping water. Each ink name derives from the expressions of beautiful Japanese natural landscapes and plants, all of which contribute to the depth of each individual hue.
